Notably, this 300-hour program is not for novices.

Course Overview

The 300-hour yoga teacher training course in Ubud lasts for 28 days. It helps you gain a further understanding of the practice and seeks to enhance your teaching skills. The course curriculum is founded on ancient teachings of yogi gurus, while studying at the ashram will give you profound knowledge of yoga.

Our teaching staff is well-qualified and has a lot of teaching experience in yoga. After finishing the yoga program, you will become proficient in conducting yoga classes.

Eligibility Criteria

The 300-hour yoga teacher training course in Ubud is meant for experienced instructors only. In other words, no beginners can take this course. Still, there is no age limitation. And those who do not wish to become yoga teachers can participate in the course as well just to improve their knowledge about the practice.

In order to apply for this course, candidates have to meet several requirements:

  • Be a graduate of a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training Course
  • Hold an RYT 200 certificate
  • Have good physical and mental health due to the fact that this course is intensive

300 Hour (28-Days) Yoga Teacher Training Curriculum

Ashtanga Yoga is a well structured style of Yoga developed by K Pattabhi Jois in the 20th century. Ashtanga Yoga follows a series of asana practices that requires strength, concentration and agility to perform. During the course the focus will be revision of the primary series and introduction of the Secondary series. Ashtanga Yoga helps in creating a connection with mind, body and breath to help in balancing the energies.

Ngurah Rai Airport (Denpasar) is the closest airport to Ubud within 1.5-2 hours.

  • Flight: You can take a flight to Denpasar and then call a cab to get to our yoga school or arrange your transfer beforehand with us.
  • Taxi: You can catch an airport cab straight on from Denpasar to Ubud.

Bali enjoys a tropical climate with two main weather seasons. From April to October, the weather is dry, allowing for sunny weather perfect for outdoor practices and temple visits. Indonesia uses type-C and type-F plugs with a voltage of 230 volts. Always remember to carry universal plugs.

Questions You May Have

It is a title conferred by Yoga Alliance (USA) to the instructors who underwent a particular training in one of the accredited yoga establishments (RYS). This title provides a chance to be included into a list of instructors on Yoga Alliance’s official portal.

The 300-hour TTC course is more developed than the basic 200-hour course. It also covers advanced theories. 

No, you cannot. Completing a 200-hour YTTC is mandatory.

Yes, you can complete these courses at two different schools, as long as both are certified by Yoga Alliance (USA). You can then register for the 500-hour YTTC.

The 300 hour YTTC course is oriented towards yoga instructors, however, anyone can attend it to better understand their yoga practice. 

The program enhances the knowledge of yoga instructors, thus making them more competent, known, and respected as instructors. 

There is no official dress code for yoga practice, but generally, comfortable attire is expected.

How to Reach UBUD Yoga Ashram ?

The closest airport for arriving in Bali for our yoga teacher training school is Ngurah Rai International Airport (Denpasar) which is also the closest airport to our school. After arriving at Ngurah Rai International Airport you will have the opportunity to either take a taxi or our shuttle transportation services to get to the ashram. The shuttle will leave from the airport according to a schedule on the day of your arrival. If needed you can arrange for your own private transportation service for a fee in advance.
