Get answers to all your queries about our yoga teacher training programs
Our focus of instruction comes from our foundation of Traditional Hatha and Ashtanga Yoga with the mix of Iyengar principles in a modern context of teaching. In addition, we provide training in Pranayama, Yin Yoga, and Meditation for all students to develop an overall understanding of the different aspects of Yoga as a whole.
No experience is necessary for the 100- and 200-hour programs since they are designed for both new and experienced practitioners. For the 300- and 500-hour programs, it would be helpful to have a basic understanding of Yoga in order to have the foundation required for the advanced levels of training.
The teaching staff at our school has many years of dedication to the practice of Yoga. They all have formal educational qualifications in Yogic Science and have been trained by recognised masters. Each instructor teaches from his or her own area of expertise - ranging from Hatha yoga and alignment to Ayurveda and Yoga philosophy - therefore the students will have the opportunity to learn through different styles and perspectives.
The ashram provides you with your yoga mat and basic tools as well to help during your training. If you would like to use your own mat, please bring this along with you.

Our students who enroll at Ubud Yoga Ashram indirectly support these initiatives through their registration and participation. We welcome individuals from all over the world to join us in supporting these charitable efforts. Our instruction is a combination of yoga and Seva (selfless service)
