Our yoga ashram was created in 2019 by distinguished yogi Arvind Singh with a singular purpose - to spread the true meaning of yoga to the world. Bali was chosen for the ashram as it is such an energy-rich environment with a rich and deep-rooted spirituality. Arvind teaches and mentors students in Hatha and alignment with love and patience.
He strives to live a simple life that embodies the very practice he teaches. To Arvind, yoga is not just about physical exercise; it connects us with our soul, enriches our minds, and helps us achieve our full potential. He speaks frequently about Samatvam Yoga Uchyate (Equalness in Mind is Yoga), which is the backbone of the classes he teaches. Arvind believes that living in accordance with the Yamas and Niyamas is essential for true growth, and he gently guides students down the path of cultivating a healthier, more balanced life.
The Authenticity, Discipline, Integrity of are core values of Ubud Yoga Ashram These values form the basis of all that we do. We create a supportive environment where people can grow-physically, mentally, and spiritually. As well, our teachings reflect this same philosophy.
Yoga is a total life science and not just an exercise. True yoga also balances your mind, refines your thinking ability, and deepens your sense of self-knowledge as you practice honest, disciplined, and calm ways of living.
We also operate Ubud Yoga Ashram in Bali in a socially responsible manner. We donate 10% of all of our revenues to local charities each year. Our donation focus is on helping the children of Balinese village communities with their schooling and basic needs. Our students who enroll at Ubud Yoga Ashram indirectly support these initiatives through their registration and participation. We welcome individuals from all over the world to join us in supporting these charitable efforts. Our instruction is a combination of yoga and Seva (selfless service)
